our history

KLx originated from the Crédit Agricole group’s strategy to establish an IT enabler in Europe. The goal was to reach a new market of highly skilled professionals to work alongside the IT teams of the group.



Our history started back in 2018 when Lisbon was chosen for a first pilot project in partnership with a local consulting firm. KLx teams progressively took on the IT activities and projects for one the group’s subsidiary. Following the success of this 1st experience, we started working with more and more teams of the group, until settling as a company in 2020. We now count over 500 people in our teams working with 10 partners of the group and we are still growing. We aim at growing by 250 professionals in the next 2 years.

The Crédit Agricole has an ambitious trajectory for 2025 and beyond: it targets over 1 million additional customers, aims to expand all its business lines with a special emphasis on Payments, Real estate, and Technological services. The Group also pursues its commitment to major climate and societal challenges with the launch of two business lines that are aiming to accelerate the rise of renewable energy and facilitate access to healthcare and "ageing well".
