Employee training should be a top priority for all companies. Apart from increasing corporate productivity and improving bottom lines, training makes employees feel more fulfilled and satisfied with their work, translating into a win-win situation. At KLx, the budget for this area will increase by 130% in 2023 compared to this year.

Since its foundation, KLx has been launching and implementing multiple processes and tools with the aim of creating a favorable and efficient environment for the development of each employee, strengthening everyone's technical, functional, and linguistic skills.
One of the first initiatives put into place was the Annual Training Plan. Each year, the Human Resources Department, in collaboration with managers, defines a training program for internal staff taking into consideration the ambitions of each employee, the specific needs of each partner, and KLx strategy. To implement this plan, KLx relies on several online training platforms, such as Pluralsight (one of the best training platforms for the IT sector and winner of the 2021 Google Cloud Social Impact Partner of the Year - Education Award), and two language schools, partnering with Alliance Française for French lessons and Easy Talk for English classes.
The array of trainings provided by Pluralsight is wide, ranging from software development, IT OPs, data, security, design and management, but also preparation for certifications such as Agile, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes and Ethical Hacking. As a company of the Crédit Agricole Group, banking and assurance training is also mandatory for all employees, who have access to a training platform of the group.
The significant investment in employees’ professional development was reinforced this year with two new initiatives moving forward: Skill Development Paths and K-Talk Communities.
For the Skill Development Paths, three main areas were prioritised: Management, Service Delivery, and Project Management. The Management Path started in October, consisting of a tailor-made program built with Lisbon School of Economics & Management (ISEG), one of the 50 best universities in executive education worldwide. The goal is to strengthen KLx managers’ team leading skills which will reflect in the quality of the company's delivery.
The K-Talk Communities also kicked off in October with the aim of sharing and discussing knowledge across teams. The first communities that were launched are focused on Testing, DevOps, Agile, Microsoft Teams, and Java.
KLx is aware that the quality of its services is the result of everyone’s work, and will continue to put the development of its employees as a key objective, enriching the training catalog and, consequently, becoming an even more strategic partner for its clients. In 2023, the training budget will see an increase of 130% compared to 2022, which notably reflects the importance given to this area.
