After two consecutive years of throwing the traditional meeting fully remotely, KLx employees gathered both on-site and online to listen to the General Manager’s wishes and reflect on what was achieved last year.
2022 was marked by steady growth, which is reflected in the number of people that currently work at KLx. “We are now over 430 and, by next year, we’ll be over 500. Very importantly, if we look at internals, we went from 80 to 130, meaning that we are now a significant team”, highlighted Elizabeth Pugeat.
Contributing to the staff number increase, during the past year, another company of the Crédit Agricole Group decided to entrust KLx with part of its IT needs. KLx is now partnering with 8 companies from the group and the results of the client survey show that the level of satisfaction is high. As stressed by KLx General Manager: “I think it’s really important to have in mind that we are doing this annual survey to understand if our partners are happy with the service that we provide, and what is really good is that it's going up.”
Elizabeth Pugeat also remembered that 2022 was the year in which KLx reached its breakeven point, an important financial milestone that reinforces the company’s capacity to invest, and the year in which the campus renovations were finalised, adding a rooftop and wellbeing area for KLx staff to enjoy.
Regarding training, which has been a key priority to KLx since the beginning, the company kept investing in 2022 and launched two new initiatives, the Management Path and the K Talk Communities, which are strengthening the staff’s soft and hard skills. On another hand, three new clubs were created, providing the opportunity for people to get together outside of work and share similar passions, such as running and yoga.
As a final note, and providing a motto for 2023, Elizabeth Pugeat said that two main drivers should continue guiding the business: added value and people.
At the end of the day what really makes a difference between our company and another and, specifically, for our colleagues in the group, is the way we are and behave.
